Cloth diapers' care

Wool cover (100% wool)

Washing instructions: hand wash at 30॰C with wool detergent, do not iron, do not dry clean, do not tumble dry, we recommend drying flat.

Before using for the first time: before using for the first time the cover should be hand washed in wool detergent and lanolized.

Daily care: the wool cover should be aired after each use. If it's soiled with poo, it should be washed in wool detergent. When the wool cover is noticeably wet or leaking, it should be rinsed with water without detergent and dried.

Butterfly fitted diaper (100% birdseye cotton)

Washing instructions: machine wash at 60॰C (140॰F), ironing is not recommended (this process reduces the absorbency of the insert), do not dry clean, can be tumble-dried (although this may significantly shorten the life of the diaper in general), do not bleach, line drying is recommended, use white washing powder containing a compound called TAED (Tetraacetylethylenediamine).

Before using for the first time: before washing your fitted diaper for the first time it is advisable to soak it overnight in hot water with dish washing soap to speed up the process of rinsing out the oils contained in the cotton. As cotton is a natural fibre it needs from 5 to 9 washes to become fully absorbent. The diaper can be put on after the first wash, but it is worth remembering to change it more often (this eliminates the dilemma of washing clean clothes, which is not always in line with our convictions).

Everyday care: the diaper that you take off your baby's bottom should be washed. If after washing you find that there are poo stains on the nappy, it's a good idea to expose the wet diaper to direct sunlight - the sun will naturally remove the stain and keep your diapers white. At the same time, these stains do not mean that the diaper is dirty (unless it is accompanied by an unpleasant smell, in which case it is worth looking again at the correctness of the washing process).

How to take care of your fitted diaper more: in order to degrease, thoroughly clean and remove deposits (which cause unpleasant smells and decreased absorbency); after infections or diarrhoea of the baby; if you have bought the second hand diaper - we use stripping which is a prolonged soaking.

Cotton Flat Birdseye Diaper (100% birdseye cotton)

Washing instructions: machine wash at 60॰C (140॰F). Ironing is not recommended as this process reduces the absorbency of the diaper (if tumble drying you can iron the very edges to keep them from curling). Do not dry clean. You can tumble dry but it is not recommended as it can significantly shorten the life of the nappy. Do not bleach. Line drying is recommended (edges will dry smooth when line drying). It is recommended to use white washing powders containing a compound called TAED (Tetraacetylethylenediamine).
